Abstract

PURPOSE: To accurately measure circle or arc, etc., even when twist or tilt exists at the measuring needle, by detecting the location difference of the measuring needle and the object to be measured as angular error.
CONSTITUTION: When the object to be measured (circle or arc, etc.) placed on the XY table 5 is measured by the needle 21 of the slide 3, by rotating radial direction slide 3 for one turn together with the spindle 1 provided with rotary encoder 4, separation distance ΔR from radius r of the reference circle is determined by the micro-measurer 2.
