Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain an oxide superconductor device where its heat insulating structure is simple and it dispenses with a cryostat, by preparing a hollow part in the oxide superconductor, thereby allowing a freezing mixture to pass through the hollow part and also arranging a heat insulating material which coats the superconductor. CONSTITUTION:An oxide superconducting coil 21 is mounted in the air 30 having the normal temperature. The coil has a heat insulating structure which coats an oxide superconductor 27 by mounting a heat insulating material 26. Further, a hollow part 28 is provided in the oxide superconductor 27 and liquid nitrogen 6 is ran into the hollow part as a freezing mixture to cool the above superconductor 27. That is to say, liquid nitrogen 6 stored in a nitrogen vessel 22 is pressed by a pump 23 to flow into the oxide superconducting coil 21 through a piping system 24. An interval between the piping 24 and the coil 21 is insulated electrically. Liquid nitrogen 6 running into the coil 21 evaporates gradually and flows into an outlet piping 25 while increasing the rate of a nitrogen gas 29. After that it is released in the air 30 having the normal temperature.
