Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent the entry of heat and decrease the evaporation of liquid helium by inserting into a pipe a liquid helium cryostat inserting tube provided with a thermal anchor. CONSTITUTION:A liquid helium cryostat inserting tube is inserted airtight into a pipe 6 at normal temperature side. A thermal anchor 7 utilizing nitrogen temperature is mounted on the inserting tube to decrease the amount of heat that enters into a liquid helium inner tank 4. This prevents the entry of heat from normal temperature region and decreases the evaporation of the liquid helium.
