Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent the entry of heat and abnormal evaporation by providing on the both ends of a vacuum section a low temperature rupture plate and a normal temperature rupture plate airtightly inserted into an emergency discharge tube. CONSTITUTION:An emergency discharge tube 7, consisting of a low temperature rupture plate and a normal temperature rupture plate and a vacuum section, is inserted airtight into a pipe 3 which connects an outer tank and a helium filled inner tank of a cryostat providing a Teflon side seal 8 in the low temperature side and a rubber 0 ring 9 in the normal temperature side. This prevents the entry of heat due to convection or thermal oscillation in the emergency discharge tube and abnormal evaporation.
