Abstract
PURPOSE:To enhance development efficiency by using a developer composed of a toner containing a binder resin and a polyester having a melting point lower than the softening point of the toner containing this binder resin as its constituent, and of a carrier coated with a silicone resin. CONSTITUTION:The developer consists of the toner containing the binder resin and the polyester having a melting point lower than the softening point of the toner containing this binder resin as its constituent, and of the carrier coated with the silicone resin, thus permitting the carrier to be little stained with the toner by the silicone resin coating low in surface energy, and the obtained developer to be improved in durability and scratching of an organic photosensitive body to be avoided by the silicone resin coating, black mottles on an image due to poor cleaning to be prevented, and consequently, the development efficiency to be enhanced.
