Abstract
PURPOSE:To accurately measure the moving length and speed of the chain by counting moving permanent magnets fitted to the chain at constant intervals. CONSTITUTION:A magnetic detection sensor 30 is installed on the moving track of the permanent magnets 20 fitted to the chain 10 at the constant intervals of L m and senses the magnetic force of the magnets 20 on the chain 10 running through the sensor. The sensor 30 amplifies the electromagnetic force generated when a magnet 20 passes by an amplifier 40, only a specific frequency is extracted by a band-pass filter 41 and rectified by a rectifier 42, and then the peak value of the electromagnetic force when the magnet 20 passes is held 43. Then the peak value is A/D-coverted 44 into a digital signal, which is counted 45 to find the number Nn of the magnets 20 passing through the magnetic sensor 30. Then the counter signal of Nn is operated 50 to calculated the unwinding/winding length Nn of the chain 10, and the moving length and speed of the chain is accurately measured by a relational expression according to the calculated length.
