Abstract
PURPOSE:To raise the economical advantage of construction work by a method in which breakwater blocks with flat plate-shaped wave-breaking walls set against the advancing direction of waves are set in connection on flat plate- shaped support walls set in parallel with the advancing direction of waves to construct a breakwater. CONSTITUTION:On a production plant yard on the ground, flat plate-shaped support walls 2 are erected at an interval on a flat plate-shaped bottom board 3 and a wave-breaking wall 1 is set vertically with the walls 2 to make up a breakwater block. The blocks are carried by barge or crane ship to a construction site and set in connection on a leveled base rubble 4. The weight of the breakwater and the force of waves on the breakwater can thus be reduced and their handleability can also be raised. The economical advantage of the breakwater construction can therefore be enhanced.
