Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain the titled compound advantageously, by subjecting an organic monohalogen compound or sulfonic acid aryl ester and a metallic acetylide to coupling reaction in the presence of an alkyl-2-imidazolidinone as a reaction promoter. CONSTITUTION:A compound shown by the formula A-X (A is 1-20C saturated or unsaturated aliphatic hydrocarbon group which may contain a substituent group inactive in reaction; X is halogen or aryl-sulfonyloxy) is reacted with a compound shown by the formula M-CidenticalC-B (M is alkali metal; B is H, saturated or unsaturated hydrocarbon group which may contain a sub substituent group inactive in reaction or saturated or unsaturated hydrocarbon group containing substituent group shown by the formula -CidenticalC-M) in the presence of a compound shown by the formula (R1 and R2 are lower alkyl; R<3> is H or lower alkyl) as a reaction promoter to give a substituted acetylene compound useful as a drug, agricultural chemical, chemical or an intermediate thereof in high yield, in high purity and in good reproducibility.
