Abstract

PURPOSE:To shorten an imaging time to a large extent, by providing an event execution memory at every event and allowing each event execution circuit to execute an event independently on the basis of a reference time. CONSTITUTION:An event circuit 13 receives a reference time from a sequence controller bus 7 to apply the same to one input terminal of an internal comparator 8 and the event execution time read from an event execution memory 14 is inputted to the other input terminal thereof. The comparator 8 outputs a coincidence pulse when the reference time coincides with an event execution time and, when said coincidence pulse is inputted to the address counter 9 of the event execution memory 14, the event execution time among two kinds of the data read from the event execution memory 14 by address indication is inputted to the comparator 8. In the case of the event execution circuit 13 outputting a gradient magnetic field Gx, control data is inputted to a D/A converter 15 to be stored in the latch circuit within the D/A converter 15 by the coincidence pulse of the comparator 8 to output a gradient magnetic field. Therefore, imaging becomes possible within a short time.
