CONSTITUTION:Constituent components of a perovskite oxide superconductor such as Y, Ba and Cu are mixed, calcined, pulverized, formed in a prescribed shape, baked at 850-980 deg.C and heat-treated at 300-700 deg.C in oxygen to obtain a sintered oxide superconductor. The product is subjected to plastic deformation by applying the whole or a part of the sintered material with an yield stress or thereabout (5-100Mpa) to enable continuous deformation by static pressure or dynamic impact at a temperature between the softening point and the melting point.
