Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a closed vessel which is superior in its magnetic shielding property and is less expensive by providing a shield material consisting of a superconductor in power state and a thermoplastic resin or a thermosetting resin to a lid part and one part or the whole of an inner surface of a main body part, both constituting the closed vessel. CONSTITUTION:The shield material 12 consisting of a superconductor in powder state, a thermoplastic resin or a thermosetting resin is arranged to the lid 1 or the inner periphery of the main body of the closed vessel constituting a magnetic disk device. By this method, the performance of the shield material 12 is independent of its wall thickness, thus obtaining a magnetic disk device capable of shielding almost perfectly the magnetism without being affected by a magnetic noise, while since such various set-up methods of the shield material are feasible as a thermal setting method after application and a bonding method after forming by injection method or compression, etc., the forming processing can be performed with ease and in great quantities even if the shape is complicate with high dimensional accuracy.
