Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent a plant from being influenced by the disturbance of an output signal by forming an interruption link between plural programmable controllers connected in parallel, and after checking mutual operation, executing sequence output processing. CONSTITUTION:An input signal I is divided into two components by a sequence controller having a multiplexed programmable controller 2 and the divided signals are simultaneously inputted to two PCs 2a, 2b. Respective interruption links 5a, 5b interrupt each other between the PCs 2a, 2b to generate an interruption on the opposite side. When an interruption generated from the opposite side is detected, '1' is set up in the internal memory of each of the PCs 2a, 2b and stored as a flag. An AND circuit 3 for output signals O1, O2 from the PCs 2a, 2b to a plant 4 outputs a practical output signal O3 to the plant 4 when both the output signals coincide with each other. Even if one of the PCs is failed, an output signal is generated as if a false output is always generated from the failed PC2.
