Abstract

PURPOSE: To shorten the error processing time of data by doubling the data input part of a device, by operating the both in parallel and by collating their outputs with each other.
CONSTITUTION: Data processors 1 and 2, having the same constitution, are supplied with (n) pieces of data D0WDn from processor 3. Either CPU4 normally reads data D0WDn via process input parts 5-1W5-n and, after performing required processing, sends only the data of device 1 by way of parallel-series converting circuit 8, modulator 10, switch 12, and circuit connection device 13. Simultaneously with the above-mentioned operation, abnormality detecting circuit 11 sends selective signals to input parts 5-1W5-n of devices 1 and 2 successively via process input part 7, reads selected data via process output device 6, and collates both data mutually and successively. As a result, when they disagree, circuit 11 sends a signal showing abnormality to CPU4. Then, CPU4 discards the data considered to be abnormal and, when it becomes evident that a fault is occurring to input parts 5-1W5-n, sends a command to device 13 to change over switch 12.
