Abstract
PURPOSE: To speed up water removal work from a container outer surface by rotating the container while holding the container with a travelling belt travelling in the same direction as a conveyance direction of the container and a water absorption belt travelling oppositely to the former belt. CONSTITUTION: A travelling belt 5 travels in the same direction as that of a conveyor 1, oppositely to that of a water absorption belt 11 with a travelling speed V1 of the travelling belt 5 and with a travelling speed of the water absorption belt 11 larger than that of the former. A bottle B is held with the travelling belt 5 and the water absorption belt 11 and is rotated (around itself), and a rotation peripheral speed of the bottle B becomes (V1+V2)/2, a high speed rotation. A throttle roller 18 is brought into close contact with the water absorption belt 11 containing water whereby water is throttled. Since the travelling direction of the water absorption belt 11 is opposite to the conveyance direction of the bottle B, there is completely achieved water removal for the bottle B where a relatively dried water absorption surface is located on a downstream side, with a throttle roller 18. Further, since self revolution speed is high, water removal time can be shortened.
