Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve the recording sensitivity, and to enable a rapid recording of the title material by uniformly dispersing a photosensitive substance in which an electron providing substitutional group is introduced in tetraphenyl porphin, in an optically transparent dispersion medium. CONSTITUTION:When a laser ray having a narrow-band is projected to tetra(4- methoxy phenyl) porphin which is uniformly dissolved in the transparent disper sion medium in a dilute state, and is cooled to a very low temperature, since the laser ray is absorbed only by a molecule corresponding to said wavelength, only one hole is generated in an ununiform absorbing band. Said compd. improves a recording sensitivity comparing with the tetraphenyl porphin which is substituted to a benzene ring. Thus, the recording sensitivity of the title material is remarkably improved, thereby enabling the rapid recording of said material.
