Abstract
PURPOSE:To form the titled antenna with high Q, small size and excellent selectivity by using a dual tuning circuit comprising a coil and a capacitor and having two tuning frequencies. CONSTITUTION:A reception antenna 10 has a dual tuning circuit, which consists of a primary tuning circuit comprising a coil L1 and a capacitor C1 and a secondary tuning circuit comprising a coil L2 and a capacitor C2. The antenna 10 has a characteristic to tune with two different frequencies by having only to use one of the coils L1 and L2 as the antenna coil. In order to tune the antenna to the two reception frequencies, the coils and capacitors in pairs on the primary tuning circuit and the secondary tuning circuit are both selected to have component values to be tuned to the center frequency between the two reception frequencies and a double peak tuning characteristic to tune sharply to the two reception frequencies is obtained by adjusting a coupling capacitor CK. Thus, the titled antenna with high Q, small size and excellent selectivity is formed.
