Abstract

PURPOSE:To increase the energy density of an electrode, and to lower and equalize resistance by dipping activated carbon fiber paper obtained by making paper of the mixture of graphite powder, activated carbon fiber, pulp and a dispersant into a specified solution and drying the paper. CONSTITUTION:Activated carbon fiber paper made of the mixture of graphite powder, activated carbon fiber, pulp and a dispersant is dipped into a colloidal carbon solution, a fluoroplastic solution or these mixed solution, and dried, thus obtaining a polarizable electrode in which graphite and fluoroplastics are carried to activated carbon fiber paper. Accordingly, the density of activated carbon fiber in the polarizable electrode is increased, and resistance is lowered and energy density is elevated while the polarizable electrode being proper to boosting charge and having high reliability is realized.
