Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent embrittlement of stabilizing material in combining the stabilizing material on ceramic superconductive matter to form a ceramic superconductive wire by coating surface active agent on the superconductive matter or adding surface active agent to the stabilizing material. CONSTITUTION:In combining Cu, Al, Ag or their alloy on ceramic superconductive matter of a single continuous wire or filament or its assembly to form ceramic superconductive wire material, surface active agent such as Bi, In, Ba, Sr, Ca, Cd, Sb, Ra, K, Cs, Rb, Fr, Sn, etc., is coated by electroplating or the like for improving wettability of the stabilizing material. Or otherwise, at least one of these is included in the stabilizing material, or both of coating and inclusion are applied. Embrittlement of stabilizing material is thus prevented, coiling property becomes good, and critical current is increased.
