Abstract
PURPOSE:To make to have excellent superconductive characteristic, and required strength and flexibility by composing the captioned material from a metallic wire as a core material and a compound oxide superconductive film including a CuxOy group formed on the surface of the metallic wire. CONSTITUTION:A superconductive film 2 of compound oxide superconductive substance composed of a CuxOy group is formed on the surface of a metallic wire 1 as a core material. A silver wire, copper wire, nickel wire, and nickel group alloy wire are used to the wire 1, and the copper wire surface has been pre-coated with nickel or nickel group alloy when a copper wire is used. This enables the superconductive wire material to have excellent superconductive characteristic and required strength and dlexibility, and to be simply manufactured at low cost and in short time.
