Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce the time for establishing a reception frame synchronization of each station by monitoring a reference burst signal and a general station synchronizing burst signal existing in a time division multiple access (TDMA) frame of a communication system. CONSTITUTION:A unique word detector 1 receives a reception burst signal 10, inputs window signals 31, 32 of a timing signal generating section 3 and error allowable value information 41 in detecting a unique word outputted from a reception state monitor/control section 4 to output a reception synchronization reference unique word detection timing signal 11 to a reception frame counter 2 and outputs a reception burst signal unique word detection information signal 12 to the reception state monitor/control section 4. A reception frame counter 2 synchronizes the counter operation with a TDMA frame period of the communication system. The timing signal generating section 3 outputs a reception frame timing signal 33 in a station with a transmission frame synchronizing burst synchronizing circuit.
