Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve high frequency characteristics of magnetic core materials, by arranging linear magnetic core materials, on which insulating films are formed at neighboring positions to each other, and filling the gaps between the linear magnetic care materials with magnetic material. CONSTITUTION:In a core bar 10, a plurality of magnetic wire rods 12 are arranged as linear magnetic materials in close proximity. The gaps between the magnetic wire rods 12 are filled with sintered magnetic material 14. The outer surface of each magnetic wire rod 12 is covered with an insulating film 18 in order to suppress the yield of an eddy current. Each magnetic wire rod 12 is electrically insulated. Therefore, the yield of the eddy current is suppressed within each linear magnetic core material 12, and eddy current loss becomes less. Since the gaps between the magnetic core materials 12 are filled with the magnetic material 14, high permeability can be maintained. Thus, the high magnetic characteristics are obtained in an especially high frequency region, and the high frequency characteristics are improved.
