Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a moistureproof structure which has a high insulating characteristic and moistureproofness and obviates the degradation in the performance of a load cell by forming many wrinkles on resin-coated metallic foil thereby forming a moistureproof film. CONSTITUTION:Strain gages are stuck to the thin deflecting parts 5, 5,... of a strain inducing body 2 made of a duralumin. The strain gages are connected to a connecting cord 11. Laminated layers 4-1, 4-3 are formed by the resin coating on the front and rear faces of the aluminum foil 4-2 having 25-50mum thickness. Further, the wrinkles 6 are formed to constitute the waterproof sheet 4. The waterproof sheet 4 is stuck via a sealant 3 to the surface inclusive of the strain gages. Since the pinholes of the aluminum foil 4-2 are closed by the resin coating, the moistureproofness is improved and the electrical insulating characteristic is improved as well. Since the many wrinkles 6 are previously formed, the working is easy. The free deformation of the load cell is allowed and the degradation in performance is obviated by the presence of the wrinkles 6.
