Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce the cost of a solat battery module by employing a laminated member which is formed of a weather resistant film, a thin metallic film and a flexible plastic film as the lower substrate of the module. CONSTITUTION:A thin metallic film 7 and a weather resistance film 6 such as fluorine resin or the like are laminated on a flexible polyvinyl chloride resin film 8 to form a lower substrate 4, solar battery cells 2 are secured onto the substrate 4 via transparent resin 3, a cover glass plate 1 is formed on the light receiving surface, and is supported by a frame 5. In this manner, the cost can be decreased without deteriorating the weather resistance property, thereby facilitating the work at the assembling time of the module.
