Abstract
PURPOSE:To keep off any liquid junction between adjacent cells themselves as well as to aim at improvement in a shelf characteristic by installing a charging part that charged resin, with water repellency, to a pole column connecting an interval between adjacent cells in common with a gas space or a part of a joint. CONSTITUTION:This battery is constituted of at least two sets of cells in common with a gas space 10, a joint 11 connecting pole columns 8, 9 at adjacent cells in series, and charging part 14, 15 that charged resins 14, 15, with water repellency of less than 73dyne/cm<2> in critical surface tension, to these pole columns 8, 8 or a part of the joint 11.
