Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce the error by forming each N-channel or P-channel MOSFET being a transmission gate into one and same well region of a substrate and applying a prescribed voltage to a well region in response to a digital data thereby reducing the back gate effect. CONSTITUTION:A voltage division by resistors 4 selected by digital data D1-Dn is larger than a voltage Vm nearly at the intermediate connecting point of the resistors 4, then a voltage switching circuit 11 applies the Vm to a P well region 10. On the other hand, when the selected division voltage is smaller than the Vm, a voltage VSS is applied by the circuit 11. Thus, the back gate bias of the N-channel MOSFET 8 in the region 10 is decreased and the forward bias between the drain and the region 10 is avoided. Thus, the error in the voltage division by the resistors 4 is decreased.
