Abstract
PURPOSE:To form a thick film of superconductive material stably and at a large film forming speed by forming a film of composite oxide superconductive material including CuxOy on the surface of a base material while heating the base material at a predetermined temperature, and cooling an obtained superconductive material at a predetermined speed. CONSTITUTION:For using a plasma flame coating device 1, a base material 2 is installed in a vacuum container 4 together with a heater 9, and the base material is heated at temperature of 500-980 deg.C by the heater, while pressure in the container 4 is reduced, and actuating gas such as argon, helium, or the like and powders of superconductive material consisting of composite oxide including CuxOy group are supplied to a flame coating nozzle 5 continuously respectively. A plasma power source 7 is then actuated to produce plasma arc between the nozzle 5 and an electrode 6. If a superconductive material 8 is thus obtained consisting of a film 3 of superconductive material formed on the surface of the base material 2, the heating temperature by the heater 9 is gradually reduced, and an oxygen-included atmosphere is maintained in the container 4, so the superconductive material 8 is slowly cooled at a speed of less than 20 deg.C/min.
