Abstract

PURPOSE:To stably generate a constant current without generating oscillation by reducing cut-off frequency in the frequency characteristics of a base current compensating circuit in a current mirror circuit. CONSTITUTION:A constant current source 5 and a base current compensating circuit 9 are connected to the current mirror circuit consisting of transistors (TRs) 1, 2 and feedback loop is constituted of the base and collector of the TR1 and the base and emitter of a TR 3 in the circuit 9 and a feedback loop is constituted of the base and collector of the TR 1 and the base and emitter of a TR 3 in the circuit 9. Since a resistor 8 and a capacitor 7 are connected to the TR 3, the cut-off frequency of frequency characteristics of the circuit 9 is sufficiently reduced as compared with the cut-off frequency of current amplification of the TR 1. Consequently, the open loop characteristics of the feedback look can be set up to a value less than gain 1 in the frequency with 360 deg. phase delay. Consequently, a constant current can be stably generated without generating oscillation.
