Then the magnetic circuit consisting of permanent magnets 3A and 3B, yokes 2A and 2B, and flanges 4A and 4B varies in resistance. Then the variation is detected by a magnetic sensor 7 and amplified by an amplifier 1 to detect the torque difference between the input shaft 6A and output shaft 6B. Thus, the watertightness, dusttightness, and durability are improved with the simple constitution without contacting.
