Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain the titled aluminum alloy suitable for using as the material of sleeve parts by specifying the compsn. consisting of Cu, Si, Mn, Ni and Al. CONSTITUTION:The aluminum alloy contains, by weight, 3.5-5.0% Cu, 1.5-4.0% Si, 0.3-<1.0% Mn and 0.5-2.0% Ni, furthermore contg. at need at least one kind among 0.3-1.0% Fe, 0.03-0.25% Cr, 0.05-0.25% Zr and/or 0.1-0.5% Mg and the balance Al with inevitable impurities. The alloy has excellent wear-resistance, machinability and cold forgeability. In said alloy, the wear of a cutting tool is nearly generated and the good surface to be machined can be obtd.
