Abstract
PURPOSE:To make a practical critical-current density approach to the value expected from the bulk material by incorporating gold with a perovskite-type oxide superconducting material, and increasing a grain boundary or a mutual contact-area among oxide particles. CONSTITUTION:The superconducting material of this invention is related to incorporate the gold in the perovskite-type oxide superconducting material consisting of the rare earth element of yttrium and so on, lanthanoide element, alkaline earth metal of barium, etc., copper, and oxygen. This gold incorporation is carried out by using the extra-fine particles of gold as a binder on a wire rod formation through a rolling, and also by applying a surface coating of the superconducting oxide before the rolling, by incorporating the gold after the rolling, and by incorporating the gold together with the formation of superconducting oxide, such as by incorporating the gold to deposit on the grain boundary or oxide particle surface of the growing perovskite-type oxide superconducting crystal.
