Abstract

PURPOSE:To make accurate-formed crimping connection performable to even such a barrel part that as in super hardness as well as to keep off any defective deformation at the time of removal by crimping the barrel part after sticking a lubricant on an inner surface of a crimper. CONSTITUTION:Prior to crimping work for a terminal with a barrel part, a lubricant 13 is applied to the inner surface of a crimper 12. Afterward, when the barrel part of the terminal is crimped, a curl form in a wire barrel part is accurately secured owing the presence of the lubricant 13, thus requisite connection strength is easily secured. And, after the crimping, the barrel part is easily separated from the crimper 12, so that any defective deformation at the time of its removal is preventable. In addition, since the lubricant 13 exists only on a surface of the barrel part, there is no interference with conduction between the barrel part and a conductor. With this constitution, accurate- formed crimping connection can be does even to such a barrel part that is super hardness and, what is more, any defective deformation at the time of removal is preventable.
