Abstract

PURPOSE:To avoid transient reversal phenomenon of generator output upon abrupt change of generating output command without lowering generating efficiency, by providing rotary speed of an induction generator through a rotary speed primary delay circuit. CONSTITUTION:An adder 15 provides a deviation P of an output P of a generator output detector 10 from a generating output command PC to a governor 5. The regulator 5 regulates the opening beta of a guide vane 9 based on the deviation P and a rotary speed N. An adder 14 provides a deviation N of the rotary speed N passed through a rotary speed primary delay circuit 21 from a rotary speed command NC to an excitation controller 7. The excitation controller 7 controls a cycloconverter 3 to produce secondary exciting current having slip frequency corresponding to the deviation N so as to match the output frequency of an induction generator 1 with the frequency of a power system 4.
