Abstract

PURPOSE:To surely deposit a dissimilar metal by pouring a molten metal from the width direction of a longsized metal member arranged inside a die, discharging it to a waste molten metal part along the length direction and executing a cast-in after rising to the specified temp. CONSTITUTION:A long sized metal member 3 is arranged in the cavity 6 of the die formed by a lost foam pattern inside the refractory material 4 of a sand, etc. Inside this cavity 6 a molten metal is poured from the width direction of the long sized metal member 3 via a small gate 7 from a runner 5. This poured molten metal is flowed along the length direction of the member 3 and discharged to a waste molten part 8 via a runner 9. The swing stream of a molten metal is thus generated on the surface of the metal member 3 to prevent the formation of a solidified film. Thereafter at the time when the surface temp. coming into contact with the molten metal of the member 3 is raised to the specified value of >=1/3 of the solidification point of the molten metal the discharging of the waste metal part 8 to the discarding melt is stopped and the member 3 is subjected to of cast-in by the molten metal.
