Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a clean power source, by a method wherein a plurality of permanent magnets is arranged on the outer periphery of a rotatable rotor in the circumferential direction of the rotor with a predetermined interval while superconductive bodies are provided on the necessary parts of the magnetic poles of the rotor, which include the rotating direction of the rotor. CONSTITUTION:The rotor 1 of a magnet prime mover is supported rotatably by the bearing plates 3 of both sides of a box type frame 2 through a shaft 4. A plurality of permanent magnets 6 is secured to the outer peripheral surface of the magnet holding drum 5 of the rotor 1. Respective permanent magnets 6 are provided with trapezoidal sections having horisontal upper surfaces 7, slant surfaces 8 vertical surfaces 9 and bottom surfaces 10 while plate type superconductive bodies 11, having Meissner effect, are attached to the upper surfaces 7 and the vertical surfaces 9 and magnetic shield is applied on them. According to this method, the opposite sides of the rotor side permanent magnets 6 and the stator side permanent magnets 15 are shielded magnetically through the superconductive bodies 11 when the same poles of the permanent magnets 6, 15 are opposed to each other whereby repulsive forces between the same poles may be affected to the rotor 1 effectively.
