Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve the axial moving property of an unsecured member, by providing a plurality of magnets at circumferential intervals on the inside of a cylinder and on the outside of a central shaft so that the same poles of the magnets are opposed to each other and by securing one of the cylinder and the shaft and enabling the other to move in the axial direction. CONSTITUTION:Magnets 211-214 are mounted at circumferential intervals on the four internal sides of a cylinder 20 so that the pole faces of the magnets extend in parallel with the internal sides and are oriented inwards and the poles of the adjacent magnets face each other. Other magnets 231-234 are mounted on the external sides of a shaft 22 so that the direction of line of magnetic force between the poles of each magnet is perpendicular to the side of the shaft and the magnets repulse the formers 211-214. One of the cylinder 20 and the shaft 22 is secured so that the other's rotation is hindered by the repulsive force between the magnets 21, 23 and the unsecured member is moved in the axial direction. The movement can smoothly be casued with a large stroke under no mechanical friction.
