Abstract

PURPOSE: To reduce a current loss by arranging N and S poles of a plurality of floating electromagnets of a marking apparatus for floating, guiding and supporting a rotor out of contact on the concentric circles respectively and by short-circuiting between the same poles with a ring plate formed of magnetic substance.
CONSTITUTION: DC electromagnets 1aW1c are disposed on the concentric circle at uniform intervals to be of the same polarity. The iron core ends are respectively short-circuited by ring plates 3a, 3b formed of magnetic substance at the N and S pole sides thereof. In magnetic flux distribution to the rotating direction of the d.c. electromagnets 1a'1c of this constitution, the intermediate between eachelectromagnet 1a-1b, 1b-1c, 1c-1a is the minimum magnetic flux, and magnetix flux change Δϕ2 is smaller than each flux ϕae. Accordingly, it is possible to reduce eddycurrent loss caused in a secondary iron core of a rotor which becomes loss of rotary power.
