Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce an eddy current loss through equalization of a magnetic flux distribution by providing direct current electromagnets for guidance of an identical pole around a rotary shaft at regular interval and connecting the edges of iron cores of the direct currnt electromagnets of every pair of identical poles with each other. CONSTITUTION:The top and the bottom of a direct current electromagnet 5 for lifting are provided with direct current electromagnets 7 and 9 for guidance, and these direct current electromagnets 7 and 9 consist of direct current electromagnets 7a-7d and 9a-9d consting of 4 pieces each around secondary iron cores 14 and 15 provided around a rotary shaft 16 and ring plates 8a, 8b, 10a and 10b made of a magnetic substance.
