Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent an igniting operation which is carried out except in a regular position by forming a controlling mechanism so as to gently cut off a current for electrifying an ignition coil at the time of resetting an ignition control circuit, stopping an engine, or operating a stopping switch. CONSTITUTION:At the time of an ordinary operation, a power transistor 5 is turned off to cut off a current for electrifying an ignition coil 7 and an ignition plug 8 is ignited by a high voltage generated in its secondary coil. At the time of resetting an ignition control circuit 2, a transistor 17 is turned off due to a reset signal send out of a power source circuit 25 and the change of a capacitor 23 is discharged gently lowering the potential of a D point, to gently cut off the current for electrifying the coil 7. Also, when an engine is stopped with the ignition coil being in an electrified condition, the potential of the D point is gently lowered preventing the electrifying condition to the coil 7. Equally, at the time of operating a stopping switch 21, the transistor 17 is turned off and the current for electrifying the ignition coil 7 is gradually reduced preventing erroneous ignition.
