Abstract

CONSTITUTION:A DC power circuit is provided with a power transformer 4, a full-wave rectifier circuit 6, and a smoothing capacitor 8, and current is fed from an output terminal 12 to a load 14. A primary side wire 4a at the power transformer 4 has two voltage-switching taps 4c, 4d connected selectively to an input terminal 2 to which AC voltage is applied. In this case, a detecting means 16 for generating first detection output when the level of input AC voltage is a first specified value (200V) and for generating second detection output when the level is a second specified value (100V), and a voltage relay circuit 26 for switching said taps are arranged. Then, by regulating the turn ratio of the windings of said taps, the voltage of a specified level is always induced to the secondary side winding 4b of the power transformer 4, and then, the breakdown strength of circuit component parts can be accommodated to said voltage.
