Abstract
PURPOSE:To manufacture an electrolytic capacitor whose various factors deteriorating a characteristic have been eliminated by a method wherein a photosensitive dry film resist is laminated on both faces of either a sheet of anode foil and a sheet of cathode foil which are composed of a valve-action metal or on one face of both sheets and, then, a number of microscopic resin protruding films or resin microscopic hole films containing recessed parts are formed on the surface of the sheets of electrode foil. CONSTITUTION:A photosensitive dry film resist 6 whose photoresist parts 3 are sandwiched between a cover film 4 and a carrier film 5 on both faces of a sheet of cathode foil 2 whose surface of a sheet of aluminum foil is etched and is roughened so as to expand a surface area is used; the cover film is exfoliated; the dry film resist is brought into contact with the photoresist 3; the photoresist 3 is brought into contact with both faces of the sheet of cathode foil 2 from a face of the carrier film 5 by using laminating rolls 7 and hot press rolls 8; then, the sheet of cathode foil 2 where a number of microscopic resin protruding films 10 are formed on both faces and a sheet of anode foil 11 where an anode oxide film is generated after, e.g., the surface of a sheet of aluminum foil has been etched and roughened so as to expand a surface area are laminated and are wound. By this setup, it is possible to manufacture an electrolytic capacitor whose characteristic is stable and whose practical value is high.
