Abstract
PURPOSE: To eliminate the undesirable consumption of battery by utilizing a battery of vehicle, comparing its voltage with a reference voltage and intermittently energizing a sacrificing anode in accordance with a comparison result. CONSTITUTION: The voltage of a battery 12 is compared with a reference voltage from a reference voltage generator 15 by a first voltage comparator 13. In result, a positive signal is outputted when the voltage of the battery 12 is larger than the reference voltage and a negative signal is outputted when it is smaller. When the output of the comparator 13 is positive, an oscillator 16 executes oscillation and its oscillation output is compared with the reference voltage from the generator 15 by the second voltage comparator 16. As a result, the positive signal is outputted when it is larger than the reference voltage and the negative signal is outputted when it is smaller. A transistor switch 14 is turned on by the positive signal and the voltage of the battery 12 is supplied to the sacrificing anode 11. At the time of the negative signal, the cathode is not energized.
