Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain favorable image quality by setting a developing bias voltage in a value within a prescribed range in an image forming process which uses an electrophotographic sensitive body, and whose primary electrification and transfer electrification are opposite in polarity, while including a lubricant on the surface layer. CONSTITUTION:In case of executing reversal development with the electrophotographic sensitive body contg. >=1wt.% lubricant such as 'Teflon(R)' powder, etc., to the surface layer, the developing bias voltage is set >=¦-500V¦ when the primary electrification of a sensitive body is negative and set <=500V when it is positive. By setting, thus, a developing processing is made applicable only to a spot where the surface potential varies >=¦-500V¦ or <=500V after electrification, so that the generation of stain of image quality and a black point can be prevented, and the favorable image quality can be obtained.
