Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve the transfer characteristic in high humidity and the cleaning property of a photoreceptor by containing a solid releasing material in the photoreceptor and an insulation characteristic toner in a jumping phenomenon. CONSTITUTION:A photosensitive drum 1 and a developing sleeve 4b having or not having an insulation layer on the surface are opposed in proximity in such a way that the insulation characteristic toner 11 on the sleeve does not contact with the photosensitive drum. A solid releasing material such as a fluorine-contg. polymer, an ethylenic polymer, a metallic salt of higher fatty acid, a fatty acid amide, or a fatty acid ester is contained in both the surface layer of the photosensitive drum and the toner. The solid releasing material is used at 2-70wt% by the total weight of the composition of the insulation layer or photosensitive layer of the photoreceptor and in the toner at 0.5-99wt% of the toner weight.
