Abstract
PURPOSE:To lower internal resistance and provide excellent high temp. preserving characteristics by putting a positive electrode current collector in contact with a black mix through a carbon layer produced by pyrolysis of a high boiling point highmolecular substance, whose main component is hydrocarbon, at the surface of positive electrode current collector. CONSTITUTION:A high boiling point highmolecular substance such as lubricating oil is coated on the surface of a positive electrode current collector 2, and it is subjected to pyrolysis at a temp. over 500 deg.C under a vacuum of 10<-4>mmHg or in an inert gas. Thus a carbon layer is provided. Through this carbon layer, the positive electrode current collector 2 is put in contact with a black mix 1, to which carbon powder of graphite, carbon black, etc., is added together with fluoric resin as binder. This lowers the internal resistance and suppresses increase thereof while preserved a high temp.
