Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide the titled coating agent containing a polymer having polydimethylsiloxane group on side chain, free from the degradation problem caused by antifouling agent, having high stability, able to be canned without necessitating the sealing of inert gas, usable without restriction of pot-life and having excellent storage stability.
CONSTITUTION: The objective coating agent is produced by compounding (A) a polymer of one or more kinds of monomers of formula (X is H or methyl; n is 2W4; m corresponds to an average polymerization degree of ≥70) with (B) 5W95wt.% (based on A+B) of one or more vinyl-polymerizable monomers (e.g. methyl methacrylate) and, if necessary, (C) 1W70wt.% (based on A+B+C) of a surface lubricant (e.g. paraffin wax). The obtained coating agent is quickly dryable, insensitive to the under-cure at the deep part of the coating film and the humidity and temperature in drying, resistant to blistering and peeling and has excellent interlaminar adhesivity.
