１５Ｇ，１５Ｂ…信号電極、ＬＣ…液晶。

    【実用新案登録請求の範囲】
  1. 互いに対向して配置された一対の透明な基板と
    、この一対の基板の夫々に互いに対向して配列形
    成された複数の電極と、前記一対の基板間にねじ
    れ配向して封入された液晶と、前記一対の基板の
    うち一方の基板に隣接する前記液晶の液晶分子の
    配向方向に対して直交または平行な偏光軸を有す
    る一方の偏光板およびこの一方の偏光板の偏光軸
    に対して平行な偏光軸を有する他方の偏光板とを
    具備する液晶素子において、前記液晶に、誘電率
    異方性が正で且つ屈折率異方性の波長依存性が大
    きいネマテイツク液晶組成物を用いたことを特徴
    とする液晶素子。
