Abstract

PURPOSE:To form a laminated steel sheet, having no defect such as pin holes or the like on a metallic foil, by a method wherein the width W1 of a resin film is made smaller than the width W2 of a steel belt and the width W3 of a metallic foil and the steel belt and the metallic foil are short-circuited at the outside of the width W1 of the resin film. CONSTITUTION:The width W2 of a steel belt 2 and the width W3 of a metallic foil 14 are in the relation of W1<W2<W3 with respect to the width W1 of a resin film 13 and the metallic foil 14 is short-circuited with the steel belt 2 at the outside of the width W1 of the resin film. According to such a short-circuit, the potential difference between the metallic foil 14 and the steel belt 2 is near to the value of 0MV without limit in the whole area of a conveying passage from the bonding part of the metallic foil and the steel belt to a delivery side conductor roll. Accordingly, when conducted current (or conducted voltage) is large, or the thickness of the resin film is thin and the threshold potential of dielectric breakdown is low, pin holes will never be generated on the metallic foil 14 due to spark discharge through the resin film 13.
