Abstract

PURPOSE: To make the welded parts stronger through the formation of paddings at the innerside thereof by bonding multiple thermoplastic synthetic resin sheets or films to each other with high-frequency welding and then cutting them at the outerside of the welded parts immediately after making the high-frequency voltage off.
CONSTITUTION: A cutter 3 having an edge formed at its lower outside in the inclined form is attached to the outerside of an upper electrode 1 having a lower end being slightly inclined inwards. The upper electrode 1 and cutter 3 can be forcedly lowered together. After placing two syntehtic resin sheets 5 and 6 on a lower electrode 8 via an insulation sheet 7, the sheets 5 and 6 are welded to each other by lowering the upper electrode 1 towards the sheets 5 and 6 and applying the high- frequency voltage thereon simultaneously. The welded part is formed at the portion innerwards from the point right below the electrode 1 corresponding to the inclined form of the electrode at its lower end. Then, immediately after making the high- frequency voltage off, the sheets 5 and 6 are cut through at the outerside of the welded part by lowering the cutter 3.
