Abstract
PURPOSE:To print the stationary image of an image signal within a short time with high accuracy without using a field memory, by printing the image of one line in a vertical direction on the basis of the image signal of one frame through the control of a microcomputer and repeating this printing with respect to plural dots in a horizontal direction. CONSTITUTION:When a line sequential image signal (a) such as a television signal is inputted, the pixel data corresponding to the part of a head 1 is held to the S/H-1 in an S/H circuit 6 for a time of T2 sec necessary for printing and printed on printing paper by the control of a microcomputer 5. Subsequently, printing is performed in the order of a head N+1, a head 2N+1... and, in the same way, an S/H-2 holds the image data corresponding to a head 2, a head N+2, a head 2N+2... for T2 sec to perform printing. By repeating this operation the number of times corresponding to the number of horizontal dots, the stationary image of one frame is printed.
