Abstract

PURPOSE:To increase and uniformize the flowing velocity of magnetic fluid by constructing the inner diameter of a low temperature pipe with refrigerant cooling larger than that of a high temperature pipe by heating. CONSTITUTION:An air gap 2 is formed in a pipe 3 filled with magnetic fluid 1 to form a loop, and a cooler 7 and a heater 8 are mounted. When a magnetic field is applied by a magnetic field unit 5 between the cooler 7 and the heater 8, the fluid 1 flows from low temperature side to high temperature side in the pipe 3. A turbine 4 is rotated by the force generated by this flow to produce kinetic energy. The magnet of the unit 5 is disposed in the same direction as the flow of the fluid 1 in its magnetic field. Further, the inner diameter of the pipe 3 at the heater and the cooler is altered, the inner diameter of the pipe at the cooler is increased larger than that of the pipe at the heater, preferably 2-5 times.
